Richard ElementRichard Element and his mount Henry trained very hard for their first tournament in 2003, earning them a 3rd place finish in the Canadian Light Armour Jousting Division.

The Dragon's Lair 2004 International Jousting Tournament was another first for the team as they competed in the Heavy Armour Division with a new suit of armour and jousting techniques. With their strong ethics and great partnership they are worth keeping an eye on during future tournaments.

Richard is soundly supported by his wife and 2 children who have also taken an interest in this medieval horse sport, and compete along side him in mounted games during training events. When Richard isn't training or out riding with his family, he works as a nuclear engineer with Candu reactors near his home in Castleton, Ontario.
